Acceptable Items for Kerbside Collection
- Furniture (e.g., chairs, tables, sofas)
- White goods (e.g., fridges, stoves)
- Small household appliances (e.g., fans, toasters)
- Carpets and rugs (rolled and tied)
- Electronic waste (e.g., televisions, computers)
- Mattresses
- Bicycles and sporting equipment
- Bath and laundry tubs
- Wood products less than 1.5 metres
Unacceptable Items
- Batteries of any kind
- Bean bags (including polystyrene filling)
- Bricks and concrete
- Car parts and tyres
- Commercial builders waste
- Garden and green waste
- Gas bottles and helium tanks
- General household waste
- Glass and mirrors
- Hazardous and flammable wastes
- Lino and fibro sheeting (potential asbestos)
- Liquids (e.g., paint)
Note: Items must be able to be easily and safely lifted by two people. Piles larger than two cubic metres will not be collected.
